Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026 · Flintrock Transport LLC

This policy explains exactly what cookies and tracking technologies Flintrock OS uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — like your login session or preferences — so you don't have to re-enter everything every time you return.

We also use similar technologies like local storage and session storage for certain client-side preferences.

2. How We Use Cookies

Flintrock OS uses cookies for three purposes:

  • Authentication: to keep you signed in securely across requests
  • Preferences: to remember your settings and consent choices
  • Analytics: to understand how users interact with the app so we can improve it

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or sell your cookie data to any third parties.

3. Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for Flintrock OS to function. They cannot be disabled — disabling them would break authentication and core features.

sb-[project]-auth-tokenEssential

Provider: Supabase · Duration: Session / 1 week

Stores your JWT authentication token. Without this cookie, you cannot stay logged into Flintrock OS.

ft_cookie_consentEssential

Provider: Flintrock OS · Duration: 365 days

Stores your cookie consent preference ("all" or "essential"). Prevents the consent banner from appearing on every page load.

4. Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how users interact with Flintrock OS — which features are most used, where users spend time, and where they encounter friction. All analytics data is anonymized and aggregated.

Analytics cookies are only set after you consent using the cookie banner. You can change your preference at any time.

_vercel_insights_*Analytics

Provider: Vercel Analytics · Duration: Session

Privacy-first page analytics. Tracks page views and referrers without storing personal identifiers. No cross-site tracking.

__vscidAnalytics

Provider: Vercel Speed Insights · Duration: Session

Measures real-world performance metrics (Core Web Vitals: LCP, FID, CLS) to help us improve page load speed.

_ga, _ga_G-Z612HC3646Analytics

Provider: Google Analytics 4 · Duration: 2 years

Anonymized analytics on the public landing page (flintrockos.com). IP anonymization enabled. Not loaded inside the authenticated app.

6. How to Control Cookies

Cookie banner: When you first visit Flintrock OS, a banner lets you accept all cookies or manage your preferences. You can choose essential-only to disable analytics cookies.

Browser settings: You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will break Flintrock OS authentication — you will not be able to stay logged in.

ChromeSettings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
FirefoxSettings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
SafariSettings → Safari → Privacy → Manage Website Data
EdgeSettings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Opt-out tools: You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as we add new features or integrations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. If we introduce new analytics or tracking cookies that require consent, we will re-trigger the consent banner for existing users.
